The atmosphere is laid-back, free from the roar of jet skis, attracting a mixed crowd from European retirees to families with kids.
However, commercialization has claimed much of the shoreline, leaving little space for just laying down a towel, with rows of paid sunbeds dominating. In the evenings, the promenade is a fitness and running hotspot. Cleanliness is a common concern, with murky waters and plastic litter post-tide. Yet, compared to Pattaya’s central beach, this stretch is noticeably tidier.

- Parking Hassles: The narrow coastal road is usually packed. Finding a car spot is a stroke of luck. It’s slightly easier with a bike, but still a search.

- Own Transport: Parking along the road is informal and usually full. It’s better to leave your bike or car on the side streets (sois) and walk.
The Unique Factor
