Description

Located just off Sukhumvit Road, big c south pattaya is a quintessential everyday Asian shopping hub. Jomtien expats and long-termers flock here for familiar Western comfort foods and handy Thai semi-prepared meals. Inside, there is a constant hum of heavy-duty air conditioning and the rhythmic beep of checkout scanners. The aisles can get a bit tight, and peak hours bring literal shopping-cart traffic jams around the fresh produce sections. Still, the selection hits every practical need, from fresh cuts of meat to cheap rice cookers and budget apparel.

The building is currently undergoing a partial facelift. The ground floor and food court already look fresh with their updated design and clean tables, complete with new toy capsule machines for kids. However, the dated restrooms and dim lighting in certain sections still betray the building’s age. All in all, this is a highly functional shopping destination—no-frills, practical, and featuring easy-to-read price tags translated into English.
