Description
This landmark is split into two tiers. You can zoom right up to the first level on a scooter, where you’ll find the main statue of the goddess and a launchpad for paragliders. To reach the second tier—home to the main observation deck—you’ll need to tackle a steep, 200-step staircase. Expect dense jungle surroundings and the occasional mosquito buzz, but the traditional architecture and the sweeping view over Tawaen Beach are absolutely worth the sweat.
It’s a popular stopover after a beach day or while exploring Koh Larn’s scenic lookouts. Unlike the chaotic Na Baan Pier, this spot is peaceful and cooled by a gentle sea breeze. Tired climbers can grab an ice cream and catch their breath near the clean restrooms—a rare luxury for such an off-the-beaten-path spot.
