Many visitors choose to stay at the roadside level because the climb is a real sweat-fest in the tropical heat. If you decide to head down towards the water from here, there’s an interesting path: cross the small bridge to the left to find a secluded, rugged stretch of coastline away from the main Tawaen crowds—just watch out for sea urchins.
